If you haven’t been born again, i.e., received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, it is as simple as saying the following prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father –

I have tried doing things my way
and they haven’t worked out well.
I believe You have a plan for my life and could do a better job.

Please forgive me of my sins and come into my heart.
I want that new life You promise
and an everlasting life in heaven.

Fill me with Your Holy Spirit.
help me to follow wherever You lead.

I ask this in the name of Your Son, Jesus.

AMEN
